Job summary

Eversource is seeking an engineer to plan, design, and oversee gas distribution projects, including regulator stations, telemetry, and distribution mains. The role involves site layouts, documentation for procurement, and compliance with regulatory standards.

You will coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal teams, and assist during emergencies. Requirements include a BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 3–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Designs systems or installations to fit Company objectives and codes.
• Performs site layouts and prepares documents for procurement, permitting and construction.
• Coordinates construction activities with customers, contractors, States, Municipalities, and internal departments.
• Assists in gas distribution system restoration during emergencies.
• Travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
