Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Project Manager for gas project development, spanning from early-stage technical assessments to construction readiness and execution. The role focuses on developing and implementing project reporting and cross-functional coordination with E&C and Integrated Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate has disciplined project management experience, ownership of cost and schedule risk, and the ability to drive alignment in a fast-moving, origination-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years in energy project development or large capital construction.
• Experience in project controls and schedule development for gas generation or major capital projects.
• Ability to manage owner-level reporting, including monthly/quarterly progress reports.
• Familiarity with EPC/EPCM delivery models and contractor bid evaluation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Support E&C participation in technology reviews, preliminary engineering, and contracting.
• Coordinate input from E&C SMEs on site configuration reviews and constructability assessments.
• Track development and regulatory milestones and flag construction-phase dependencies early.
• Maintain project schedules, cost benchmarks, and cash flow models.
• Own and maintain the E&C risk register across active workstreams.
• Identify and elevate development-driven scope changes that affect cost or schedule.
• Support risk-adjusted cost positioning and contingency analysis for leadership.
• Manage monthly/quarterly progress reporting to the project owner.
• Develop one-page dashboards and executive status materials.
• Prepare executive-level project status packages communicating risks and mitigations.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain on RFQ inputs and bid evaluations.
• Track long-lead equipment and identify supply chain constraints.
