Hydrogen Group seeks a Project Manager to lead gas project development activities from early-stage assessments through construction readiness and execution. The role focuses on developing and implementing project reporting to support decisions.

This hands-on role spans E&C and Integrated Supply Chain, requiring disciplined project management, cost/schedule risk ownership, and cross-functional alignment in a fast-moving environment. Remote work with East Coast hours for a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in energy project development or large capital construction.
• Demonstrated experience in project controls and schedule development for gas generation or major capital projects.
• Proven ability to manage owner-level reporting obligations, including monthly and quarterly progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Support E&C participation in technology reviews, preliminary engineering, and contracting for active gas development projects.
• Coordinate input from E&C SMEs on site configuration reviews, constructability assessments, and balance-of-plant evaluations.
• Track development and regulatory milestones, flagging construction-phase dependencies early.
• Maintain project schedules, cost benchmarks, and cash flow models to support sanction decisions.
• Own and maintain the E&C risk register, tracking scope, schedule, cost, and constructability risks.
