Job summary

Howard Energy Partners is seeking a Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our facility, including the cryogenic plant, amine treating plant, glycol and mole-sieve dehydration systems, tank farm, utilities, engines, and pumps. The role can span Entry-Level to Senior levels, with responsibilities to monitor flows and operate processes using HMI/DCS (DeltaV/Wonderware/Ignition).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient in operating HMI/DCS control systems (DeltaV/Wonderware/Ignition).
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, control schemes, and blending calculations.
• Commitment to safety policies, PSM regulations, and incident response plans.
• Ability to follow SOPs and communicate effectively.
• Good technical troubleshooting and written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor flows, temperatures, pressures, and levels across plant systems.
• Operate plant processes using HMI control systems.
• Notify maintenance of equipment abnormalities and assist in repairs.
• Record process parameters and maintain operating reports and lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Develop understanding of gas/liquid hydraulics and blending calculations.
• Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and participate in on-call duties.
• Operate independently at higher levels and mentor junior operators as needed.
• Ensure compliance with PSM regulations and incident response protocols.
