Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Technical certification or related training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Knowledge of operation, control and design of systems in processing plants.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (percentages, ratios, proportions).
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful conditions.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate natural gas plant and pipeline equipment (amines, dehydrators, compressors, valves).
• Start-up/shutdown plant equipment and adjust controls within operating ranges.
• Visually inspect equipment and controls for malfunctions or needed maintenance.
• Monitor gas gathering system via SCADA and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Perform minor maintenance and replace consumables (filters, fluids, gaskets).
• Maintain site cleanliness and support safe working practices.
• Collaborate with supervision on plant and pipeline improvements.
• Work rotating 12-hour shift schedule and provide PTO coverage as needed.
