Qualifications

  • Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and on‑call schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily plant operations to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant processing performance.
  • Operate gas processing equipment, compression systems, and advanced instrumentation, including automated control systems.
  • Diagnose operational issues, perform higher-level troubleshooting, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor facility performance and adjust processes to maintain stable and optimized production conditions.
  • Conduct detailed equipment inspections, reliability checks, and advanced preventive maintenance activities.
  • Document shift activities, operating data, and maintenance notes thoroughly in company systems.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams on equipment repairs, process improvements, and optimization projects.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and company operational requirements.
  • Assist with planning, procedural improvements, and long‑term plant reliability initiatives.
  • Perform additional operational tasks and assigned responsibilities as directed by leadership.

Job description

Under the general supervision of the Facilities Foreman, this position will be responsible for safe, efficient, and reliable operation of gas processing equipment. This role performs routine and complex operational tasks, including monitoring plant systems, adjusting controls, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. In addition, this role will handle control‑room duties, record operational data, respond to alarms or process upsets and assist with maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Support daily plant operations to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant processing performance.
  • Operate gas processing equipment, compression systems, and advanced instrumentation, including automated control systems.
  • Diagnose operational issues, perform higher-level troubleshooting, and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Education and Experience:
  • 1–4 years of experience in plant operations or related oil and gas facility work. Process experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and pass all screening requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or relevant coursework strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and participate in on‑call schedules as needed.
  • Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot equipment and apply corrective action solutions.
Physical Requirements:

As part of the job description, plant operators must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50lbs. Plant operators must also be physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing tasks that may involve climbing, kneeling, bending, working overhead, and standing for extended periods.

The work required for this position cannot be performed remotely. Plant Operators are required to live within a reasonable distance to the field.
