Job summary

Chord Energy Corporation is seeking a Plant Operator for the Ray Gas Plant in Ray, ND. The role supports processing plant engines, pumps, and separation equipment, with training provided on procedures and safety protocols.

The position offers a 7 days on, 7 days off rotating day and night schedule, with wage and level commensurate with experience. Candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance, monitor gauges, and follow EH&S guidelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license required.
2 years' operating experience preferred.
Strong communication skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email; ability to learn company programs.
Knowledge of safety regulations for gas plant operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor pressure levels, gauges and production flows.
Perform regular plant maintenance and operations changes.
Ensure plant is operated and maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Work with safety department to maintain a safe environment per EH&S guidelines.
Purge and validate purges of plant systems, piping, and vessels.
Determine product specification in plant: gas/liquids.
Review and sign off on procedures; isolate systems as needed.
Schedule product shipping and assist truck drivers with loading.
