Energy Transfer operates a large network of gas processing facilities in Louisiana, seeking an Operator to maintain and optimize compressors, pumps, and related equipment. You will be responsible for process controls, alarms, and regulatory compliance while working in a 24/7 environment.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently or in teams, and willingness to engage in safety-focused activities and training.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in industrial settings and travel as needed.

Mansioni

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment and systems (process controls, engines, compressors, pumps, valves, etc.).
• Optimize processing by maintaining product specifications.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective actions.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels to meet operating targets.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and safety standards (PSM-SPCC-TNRCC) and relevant reporting.
• Pass applicable operator certifications when required.
• Participate actively in safety programs and communicate with control centers.
• Oversee third-party construction/maintenance activities.
• May perform lab tests, diagnose issues, and complete minor repairs.
• Monitor field compressor status via SCADA; follow LOTO procedures.
