Targa Resources is seeking a Plant Technician to monitor and optimize operation and production in our natural gas facilities in Oklahoma. You will work with mechanical equipment, electrical and pneumatic controls, and SCADA systems to ensure data-spec compliance and safe operation.

Responsibilities include operating and inspecting plant equipment, adjusting controls, responding to emergencies, and maintaining safety standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.
• Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with teams and vendors.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office software.
• Willingness to overtime and respond to call outs as needed.
• Follow PPE guidelines and maintain regular attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with operating natural gas plant and pipeline equipment including treating plants, compressors, dehydrators, and valves.
• Adjust controls to operate equipment within prescribed ranges.
• Visually inspect equipment and controls for malfunctions and maintenance needs.
• Monitor plant and pipeline operations and respond to emergencies or upset conditions.
• Follow safe work practices and contribute to safety culture for employees, public, and environment.
• Monitor gas gathering system via SCADA and notify supervisor of issues.
• Read and record operating conditions (pressures, temperatures, hours, fuel, water).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
