Targa Resources is seeking a dedicated plant operator to review and monitor operations, optimize quality, and ensure safe performance of midstream processes. This role supports data-driven decisions across safety and production metrics.

You will install and maintain pumps, motors, valves, and assist in cryogenics, amine and glycol systems; strong data monitoring and teamwork are essential to succeed in this environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related midstream work experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts including some weekends/holidays.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Review and monitor plant operation for quality and production per data specs.
• Install pumps, motors, and valves; perform general maintenance when needed.
• Operate cryogenics plant, stabilizer, amine and glycol treatment systems.
• Collect data readings and monitor plant equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance on compressors and install equipment as needed.
• Fill out work permits, lockout/tag-out documentation, and participate in tailgate sessions.
• Perform routine shutdowns, startups and emergency procedures.
• Act as relief operator as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
