TC Energy in the Lafayette area seeks a skilled Pipeline Technician with knowledge of high‑pressure natural gas pipelines, compressors, and related equipment. You will locate infrastructure, manage crossings, and complete required documentation, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, self‑start mindset, and willingness to handle on‑call duties and travel for temporary assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience locating and marking subsurface pipeline infrastructure.
• LOTO experience and gas handling.
• Previous energy industry or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Locate and visually mark subsurface pipeline infrastructure.
• Oversee pipeline crossings and encroachments.
• Complete DOT and Company documentation.
• Perform pipeline maintenance incl. leak repair and inspections.
• Operate compressor engines and support equipment.
• Plan and perform mechanical maintenance and maintenance projects.
