Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Pipeline Technician to support its US Gulf Region in Louisiana, including Eunice and surrounding areas. The role involves locating subsurface infrastructure, performing maintenance on high‑pressure natural gas systems, and ensuring DOT compliance.

You will operate equipment, document activities, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams in a demanding field setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, LOTO and gas‑handling experience, and the ability to work

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience locating and marking subsurface pipeline infrastructure.
LOTO experience and gas handling knowledge.
Experience with pipeline sites, maintenance, and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

Locate and visually mark subsurface pipeline infrastructure with paint and/or flags.
Oversee and manage pipeline or utility crossings and encroachments.
Complete required Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company documentation.
Perform pipeline maintenance such as leak repair, right-of-way clearing, and tie-ins of mainline valves.
Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain gas-fired equipment and compressors.
Enter data into SAP, create work orders, and manage gas-handling plans.
