Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking skilled personnel for construction, installation and maintenance of transmission and distribution pipelines.

You will handle a wide range of tooling and equipment, perform routine vehicle/apparel maintenance, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and efficiency on site. Position requires ability to read maps/blueprints, follow safety procedures, and maintain a high level of reliability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manual tools and equipment used in pipeline work.
• Ability to read and interpret basic maps/blueprints and job orders.
• Fluent in English reading/writing.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division) tested.
• Familiar with safety procedures for construction and gas utilities.
• Experience in excavations and confined spaces is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipeline construction, installation, maintenance, and removal on transmission and distribution pipelines.
• Load, unload, and operate tools and equipment (pipes, wrenches, cutters, backhoes, etc.).
• Maintain vehicles and equipment (fuel, lubricants, oil and filters).
• Investigate customer orders and emergencies (low pressure calls, leaks, fires).
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
