Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a results-oriented energy project leader to drive AWS infrastructure expansion by delivering medium/high voltage power projects across multiple geographies.

You will coordinate utilities, EPCs, and internal teams to ensure reliable, cost-effective energy delivery for AWS data centers. The role emphasizes collaboration with regulators, internal stakeholders, and external partners, with travel less than 20%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience working with regulated utilities to develop, contract and deliver energy infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Utilities, EPC and Owner's Engineers to deliver a portfolio of inflight medium voltage and high voltage power infrastructure projects.
• Manage capital budgets for electrical infrastructure and energy projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and regulated utilities on energy project implementation and management.
• Identify and develop cost-saving projects related to energy infrastructure and supply.
• Work with utility regulators to develop policies and guidelines that enable AWS strategies and objectives.
