Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Fuel Delivery Manager to drive natural gas infrastructure projects that power AWS data centers. You will lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate with gas utilities and regulators, and ensure timely delivery of pipelines and interconnects across multiple regions.

This role requires a strong background in gas infrastructure, project management, and the ability to manage large EPC scopes, budgets, and schedules. Travel up to 20% across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong natural gas infrastructure background with track record of permitting, constructing, and commissioning gas pipelines.
• Experience working with gas utilities, pipeline operators, and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to lead multiple large-scale projects across geographies and coordinate with EPC vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage EPC vendors, gas utilities, pipeline operators, and Owner’s Engineers to deliver in‑flight natural gas infrastructure projects including pipelines, laterals, M&R stations, and interconnect facilities.
• Oversee permitting, construction, and commissioning to ensure on‑time delivery aligned with datacenter schedules.
• Proactively identify, flag, and mitigate risks to project schedules, communicating impacts to datacenter delivery timelines.
• Manage capital budgets for natural gas infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and gas utilities on implementation and management of fuel infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate project schedule and risks with internal teams to ensure data center build timeline is informed by gas delivery.
• Identify and develop cost-saving projects related to natural gas infrastructure and supply.
• Work with regulators, pipeline operators, and permitting agencies to develop policies supporting AWS strategy.
