Job summary

Warren CAT in Odessa, Texas is seeking a Rental Field Technician II to deliver high quality repair services on heavy equipment, ensuring timely solutions and customer value.

You will complete jobs to meet flat rate times, assemble and test components, diagnose issues, and mentor team members while adhering to safety standards.

A high school diploma or GED is required, CDL preferred, and you must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to provide accurate information to management for quoting.
• Obtain or possess adequate tooling to perform duties.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be certified in air-conditioning.
• Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Complete required paperwork and access databases for work orders, parts orders, and safety docs.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, and test adjustments with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, advise repairs, and perform rental and engine repairs.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Apply general failure analysis to determine proper diagnosis.
• Mentor Rental team members.
