Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc is seeking a Business Development Engineer to design natural gas facilities for business development projects, including mains, services, metering, and regulator stations. You will develop cost estimates and manage projects across multiple work order systems.

The role requires coordination with engineering, sales, and operations, with on-site work four days a week in Middletown, PA or nearby offices in Lancaster or Reading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or higher in related field.
• Experience in engineering roles within energy/utility sectors preferred.
• EIT or PE license preferred; willingness to pursue licensure.

Responsibilities

• Design natural gas facilities for business development projects (mains, services, metering, regulator stations).
• Develop project cost estimates and manage projects in work order systems.
• Coordinate with departments and consultants to align design and delivery priorities.
• Prepare project completion packages for Records and Accounting.
