Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Engineer to design natural gas facilities for business development projects, including mains, services, metering, and regulator stations.

You will develop cost estimates and manage projects across various work order systems while coordinating with engineering design consultants and multiple departments. The role requires collaboration with the Sales group and Operations for technical and project management assistance during new business

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience in an engineering role within energy, utility, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design natural gas facilities for business development projects including mains, services, metering, and pressure regulator stations.
• Develop project cost estimates and manage projects across multiple work order systems; coordinate with departments and consultants.
• Provide technical support to the Sales group and Operations during new business facility installations; monitor costs and variances.
• Prepare job completion packages for documentation and close-out in designated systems.
