Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is seeking an Engineer I - New Business Development to design natural gas facilities, including mains, services, metering, and basic pressure regulator stations, for business development projects.

You will develop project cost estimates, manage projects in various work order systems, and coordinate with Sales and Operations to align design with delivery priorities; on-site five days a week in Wilkes-Barre, Bethlehem, or Archbald.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 1 year of engineering experience; energy or utility experience preferred.
• EIT preferred; PE license preferred in future.

Responsibilities

• Design natural gas facilities (mains, services, metering) for business development projects.
• Develop project cost estimates and manage projects in various work order systems.
• Coordinate design and project delivery with multiple departments.
• Prepare complete project completion packages for records and accounting.
