Eversource Energy in Connecticut seeks a field service professional to remove, repair, replace, and install gas piping while investigating odor complaints and performing underground utility markouts. You may operate pavement breakers, a backhoe, and a dump truck, and you must be prepared for on-call emergencies and possible DOT-required safety protocols.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid CDL, and a clean driving record.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• External candidates must complete EEI CAST aptitude testing.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Two years of related experience preferred for helper level.

Mansioni

• Remove, repair, replace and install various sizes and types of gas piping.
• Investigate and repair gas odor complaints.
• Operate pavement breaking and road cutting equipment.
• Operate a backhoe and dump truck.
• Perform walking leak surveys and underground utility mark outs.
• Drill and tap gas mains of various sizes and types.
