Eversource Energy is seeking a field service worker to remove, repair, replace and install gas piping, respond to odor complaints, and operate heavy equipment. The role includes walking leak surveys, underground mark outs, and drilling/tapping gas mains.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be able to meet DOT medical requirements, and be prepared for union membership and on-call duty. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and EEI CAST testing for external candidates.

Formación

• Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Two years of related experience preferred for helper level.
• EEI CAST aptitude test required for external candidates (CAST Test)

Responsabilidades

• Remove, repair, replace and install various sizes and types of gas piping.
• Investigate and repair gas odor complaints.
• Operate pavement breaking and road cutting equipment
• Operate backhoe and dump truck
• Perform walking leak surveys
• Perform underground utility mark outs
• Drilling and tapping of gas mains
