Enbridge is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to oversee contractor teams on complex gas distribution projects. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a strong customer experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, reviewing project progress, and approving supplier invoicing. Travel is required; the role supports various office and field activities with a focus on mentorship and process improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Related university degree and 2 years of experience or four+ years of field operations experience
• 2+ years of general office, field operations, inspection/contractor-related experience
• Knowledge of company and department procedures
• Ability to prioritize work and exercise discretion
• Good oral and written communication, including explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and IT tools

Aufgaben

• Oversee and coordinate activities of contract teams on gas distribution projects
• Coordinate schedules with contractors and internal resources
• Monitor safety and compliance with contract terms and regulations
• Verify contractor qualifications and OQ qualifications
• Observe and document performance via JSOs and audits
• Review project status and report regularly
• Attend safety meetings and pre-job briefings
• Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive communication about access/outages
• Review and approve supplier invoicing in cost-plus and bid work
• Resolve design, material and reporting discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with laws and interface with agencies
• Investigate accidents/incidents
• Assist local offices as needed
• Mentor and train less experienced peers
• On-board contractors for access to tools and tech
• May assume supervisor role when needed
• Perform other duties as requested
