Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Gas Operations Representative I to support gas distribution operations, equipment maintenance, and customer service. You will respond to emergencies, assist with installation and repairs, and help maintain records while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role includes on-call and shift work with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. A valid driver's license and basic equipment operation skills are required, with opportunities to train others within Gas

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating maintenance construction equipment (welders, grinders, drills, tampers, pavement breakers and hand tools).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations (gas leaks, fires, evacuations, asphyxiation incidents, damaged gas lines) and provide prompt response.
• Support installation, maintenance, and repair of gas distribution systems and service lines.
• Perform customer service tasks (gas turn-ons/offs, appliance servicing, bill investigations, payments).
• Maintain accurate system records, process service orders, and maintain contractor verification records.
• Safely operate field equipment and meet licensing/certification requirements.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to Gas Operations staff as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations, overtime, shift work, weekends and holidays.
