Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Director of Gas Development to lead and coordinate gas power generation development and negotiations. You will build strategic partnerships, manage major contracts, and drive project execution with senior leadership.

The role reports to an Executive Director and requires strong experience in contracting, risk management, and cross-functional leadership across large-scale energy projects.

Qualifications

• High School Grad/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Experience in related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Business Administration.
• Preferred: Master's in Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Translates goals into contracting strategies and objectives.
• Leads cross-functional teams through negotiation processes.
• Manages contracting budgets and project schedules.
• Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Delivers on contract objectives and proforma requirements.
• Provides periodic updates to senior management.
