Job summary

Xcel Energy is offering an internship in Denver focused on analyzing gas emergency response data to identify trends and improve operations. You will handle large datasets and generate insights for data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include building monthly reports, supporting UKG/CADO, and creating response-time analyses. Start date is May 31, 2027, with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
• Able to work full-time during summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week).

Responsibilities

• Monthly OT report: run, clean, validate, and move to Power BI visuals.
• UKG/CADO support: assist with issues and review time-entry screenshots.
• Response-time report: create and compare performance before/after on-call changes.
• Vac Trailer Program: discuss capacity, storage, and standardize request/deploy processes.
