Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in North Haven, CT is seeking a Cylinder Processor to handle medical and industrial gas cylinders according to plant guidelines. You will inspect cylinders, determine retest or repair needs, and ensure accurate product filling and record keeping.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in a manufacturing setting with a strong mechanical background. You will operate scales and forklift, load shipments, and maintain quality documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders according to plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine retesting or repairs via visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and products; fill as needed; load/unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork, recording quantities and product details for inventory control.
• Complete quality control documentation and operate forklift and other plant vehicles; perform related duties as assigned.
