Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Cylinder Processor to handle medical and industrial gas cylinders, following established plant guidelines and procedures.

You will inspect cylinders for retesting or repairs, check stock, fill products, and load/unload from weekly shuttle trucks while operating scales and forklift equipment.

The role requires a high school degree and 1+ year in a plant or manufacturing setting, plus strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders per plant guidelines.
• Inspect cylinders for retesting or repairs using visual, physical and odor tests.
• Check quantities, styles and products; fill and load/unload weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and shipment paperwork; log quantities in system.
• Maintain quality control documentation; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.
