Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking a Skilled Laborer to support gas construction and maintenance, including installation, repair, and testing of natural gas mains and service lines. Perform field labor under crew leaders to ensure safe, code‑compliant execution at a Grand Prairie, TX site.

The role requires ability to lift heavy loads, operate hand and power tools, and work outdoors in varying conditions. Overtime, on‑call shifts, and local travel are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Operator Qualification (OQ) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of natural gas mains, service lines, valves, and related equipment.
• Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site restoration per standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment used in gas construction and maintenance.
