Job summary

Atmos Energy is seeking a field technician to perform basic, routine gas line tasks under clearly prescribed procedures. You will assist in installation and maintenance of gas lines, meters, and regulators, and help with leakage surveys when required.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and completion of operator qualifications and classroom training. Expect outdoor work in all weather, safety responsibilities, occasional travel, and strict adherence to

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Requires a valid driver's license.
• Completes assigned safety training and operator qualifications (OQ).
• Able to utilize the Company internet/intranet for data entry and reference tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic, routine work using clearly prescribed procedures and seeks guidance for deviations.
• Assists in installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
• May assist in conducting leakage surveys.
• Completes and maintains accurate records to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
