Job summary

Shale Pro Energy Services is seeking a Compressor Operator/Facility Operator in Cambridge, OH. The role focuses on safe operation and maintenance of gathering system compressor stations, recording readings, and coordinating with contractors to ensure continuous throughput.

Applicants should be prepared to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, with 12–16 hour shifts when required. Training, safety compliance, and emergency response duties are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.).
• Model all health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Use computer skills, including vendor programs and email.
• Complete and submit documentation accurately and on time.
• Respond to afterhours requests on an on-call basis.
• Ability to work 12-16 hours straight with rest periods.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate natural gas compressor stations and related equipment.
• Read and record natural gas, condensate, and production water/brine, and report parameters.
• Monitor and adjust equipment for optimum availability and efficiency.
• Inspect, maintain and repair basic equipment including pipelines and facilities.
• Maintain forms, logs, and reports and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and respond to emergencies or abnormal operations.
