Job summary

Archrock is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair activities on gas compression and process equipment at customer sites. You will work independently and as part of a team to diagnose mechanical issues and complete required documentation.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors, strong safety practices, and the ability to travel extensively to customer locations across the U.S. Archrock offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems on gas engines and compressors.
• Proficient in performing Preventative Maintenance with minimal guidance.
• Able to perform Major Maintenance, Overhauls, MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and on-call responsiveness.
• Read and write English for work orders and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations.
• Performs Major Maintenance, Overhauls, and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Completes and submits required documentation accurately and timely.
• Responds to after-hours requests on an on-call basis.
