Job summary

Archrock is seeking a field service technician to perform maintenance and repair on gas compression and process equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical issues, participate in major overhauls, and ensure accurate documentation are completed in a timely fashion.

The role requires safe work practices, proficiency with engine systems and field equipment, and the ability to respond to after-hours calls. Travel, physical fitness, and a strong customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Gas or diesel engine and compressor school/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and well-organized work environment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations.
• Perform Major Maintenance, Overhauls, and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Complete and submit documentation accurately and timely.
