Job summary

Archrock is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair on gas compression and process equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical problems, complete major maintenance and overhauls, and ensure accurate documentation.

Strong safety focus and willingness to travel are required. The role entails working at customer locations across the U.S., with on-call duties and the need to read and follow work orders and manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Gas or diesel engine and compressor training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations.
• Performs Major Maintenance, Overhauls, and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Completes and submits required documentation accurately and timely.
