Job summary

Archrock is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair gas engines and compressors in the field across multiple configurations. You will perform call outs, maintenance, and demobilizations as part of a team, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

The role requires the ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems, read manuals, and communicate with customers. Travel is extensive; the position offers hands-on PM/MM work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems and control systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems and perform PM/MM.
• Read, write, and speak English; follow health, safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and well-organized work environment.
• Performs most Call Outs (CO) without assistance from a technical expert. Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple compressor configurations.
• Performs Major Maintenance (MM), Overhauls and MOB/DEMOB as part of a team.
• Completes and submits required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
