Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services seeks an Area Manager in Midland, TX to supervise Field Service Technicians and oversee compressor packages and equipment within one area. You will maintain customer relationships and coordinate with technicians and management to troubleshoot and ensure safe, efficient daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in natural gas compression or related fields, and solid knowledge of OEM manuals and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in natural gas compression operations or related field.
• Strong mechanical intuition and ability to read OEM manuals.
• Ability to configure gas compression equipment and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Field Service Technicians and oversee compressor packages and equipment.
• Communicate daily with Lead Technicians to review tasks and moves.
• Enforce PM compliance and manage daily work orders and inventory.
• Monitor hours, overtime, safety, and employee wellbeing.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide conflict resolution when needed.
• Conduct regular Operations meetings to review processes and data.
