Job summary

Jacob Law Group in Oxford, MS is seeking a dedicated Garnishment Specialist to join our team. This in-person role focuses on accurate processing of garnishments and strict compliance with legal guidelines, supporting employees and the payroll process.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in collections or garnishment processing, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Full-time hours, with hourly pay DOE and a portion of bonus pay.

Key Responsibilities

Garnishment Processing

• Review and process various types of garnishments.

Compliance and Legal Requirements

• Ensure all garnishments are processed in compliance with legal guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries from employees and external agencies regarding garnishment-related matters.

Recordkeeping and Documentation

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all garnishment orders and related communications.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to appropriate agencies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or garnishment processing.

Skills
