Job summary

Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando is seeking a guest-focused server to warmly welcome guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a smile. You’ll use your knowledge of the menu to suggest pairings and resolve any guest concerns to create moments of magic.

This role emphasizes flexibility, strong English communication, and a passion for hospitality. You’ll work with a dynamic team, ensure accurate orders, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Flexibility with workdays and hours as this is a demanding hospitality role.
• Must be at legal drinking age and have prior food & beverage service experience preferred.
• Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required; familiarity with restaurant terminology is a plus.
• Strong communication and people skills are essential for delivering memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Flexibility. This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
• Experience. Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol. Previous experience passionately providing food and beverage service to others preferred.
• Knowledge. Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required. Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred.
• People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
• Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing
• A qualified applicant is a “people person” who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi‑task while ensuring accuracy.
