Job summary

Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage teammate to greet guests, share menu knowledge, take orders, and deliver exceptional service with a smile. You will resolve guest concerns, coordinate with the culinary team on dietary needs, and help create memorable experiences that turn moments into lasting loyalty.

This role requires strong English communication, flexibility with shifts, and certifications in alcohol service and food handling.

Qualifications

• Flexibility with workdays and hours as this is a demanding service role.
• Must meet legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
• Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication is essential.
• Ability to multitask while ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically welcome guests into the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Flexibility. This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it's also a lot of fun!
• Experience. Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol. Previous experience passionately providing food and beverage service to others preferred.
• Knowledge. Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required. Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred.
• People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
• Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing.
• A qualified applicant is a "people person" who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.
