Terrain Café, a chef-driven garden-to-table restaurant, is seeking a versatile Bartender to join our collaborative team. This hybrid role blends craft beverage preparation—cocktails, coffee, and specialty drinks—with exceptional table and counter service, serving espresso, teas, local wines, and seasonal cocktails.

You will help create memorable guest experiences, maintain a clean station, educate guests on offerings, and participate in seasonal tastings as part of a warm, hospitality-focused

Qualifications

• Prefer a 2-year minimum of bartending experience.
• Barista knowledge or willingness to learn is a plus.
• Friendly, guest-focused communication is essential.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly service to guests at the bar, counter, or nearby tables.
• Guide guests through seasonal beverage offerings with confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and accurate service.
• Mix and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks to standard recipes.
• Educate guests on local wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options.
• Set up/break down bar stations, prep garnishes, and clean equipment.
• Monitor IDs and practice responsible service; participate in stock rotation.
• Operate espresso machines, prepare coffee drinks, and ensure freshness.
• Support other FOH roles as needed; participate in seasonal tastings.
• Use POS for orders and payments; follow cash handling procedures.
