Local Garage Doors is hiring a Service Technician for a full-time role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safe, reliable garage door operation while educating homeowners on best practices.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen (THC excluded) and background check.
• Presentable, professional appearance at all times.
• Proficient with tablets/computers and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual maintenance tune-ups for residential customers.
• Inspect garage doors using company checklists.
• Diagnose worn or unsafe components and document findings.
• Recommend repairs clearly to homeowners.
• Sell approved repair work when appropriate.
• Complete repairs on springs, rollers, cables, openers, keypads.
• Educate customers on garage door safety and operation.
• Handle callbacks and customer concerns with resolution in mind.
• Assist with warehouse inventory as needed.
• Maintain accurate job records in company software.
