Job summary

Precision is seeking a Garage Door Designer to quote and specify installation of new garage doors, openers, and related components. You will interact daily with customers, provide information and recommendations, and close sales within pricing standards.

Strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to manage key relationships are essential. You will oversee measurements, prepare quotes, and coordinate orders, while promoting the company and expanding business with contractors,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and garage door experience.
Proven sales experience closing deals with customers.
Must possess a current valid driver’s license.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Shows, promotes and sells products or services using sales strategies and tactics.
Serves as the primary point of contact for customers during the sales process regarding garage doors, openers, and equipment.
Provide accurate quotes to customers; follow up and close sales.
Ensure appropriate equipment orders are placed after sale is closed.
Measure installation area and record materials and labor needed.
Provide paperwork (quotes, specs) and ensure timely orders.
Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
Interact with insurers to obtain needed information and documentation.
Promote the company and develop new business with contractors and associations.
