Job summary

Precision Door Service is seeking a Garage Door Designer to provide quotes and specifications for installing new garage doors, openers, and related components. You will interact daily with customers, offering information and recommendations on available equipment and options, and close sales according to pricing standards.

The role requires excellent numerical and analytical skills, thoroughness, and the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; garage door experience preferred in sales/installations/repairs.
• Proven sales experience closing deals directly with customers, preferably in the garage door industry.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Show, promote and sell products using sales techniques and demonstrations.
• Serve as primary contact for customers during the sales process.
• Provide accurate quotes and follow-up to close sales.
• Ensure equipment orders are placed after sale is closed.
• Record measurements and estimate needed materials.
• Provide paperwork and ensure timely order completion.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Interact with insurance representatives when needed to gather information.
