Qualifications

  • Master's degree required in a relevant engineering or science field
  • 3+ years of experience with MOCVD GaN epitaxy growth and related semiconductor materials
  • Knowledge of semiconductor unit process development and loop integration
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of GaN/semiconductor device physics
  • Strong SPC methodology knowledge for process control
  • Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust, manufacturable GaN unit processes and integrate them for GaN technology products
  • Perform hands-on process development in the fab from concept to qualification
  • Define process flows and specifications to meet electrical limits
  • Design experiments and statistically analyze data
  • Engage with material and equipment suppliers
  • Keep up with GaN fundamentals and improvements to stay competitive
  • Correlate device output with process/material inputs to improve performance and reliability
  • Coordinate with multiple engineers to plan, schedule, and communicate status across teams
