Job summary

MACOM in Lowell, MA is seeking a Program Manager for the GaN MMIC Product Line to lead development programs from concept through production, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage scope, milestones, and risk across multiple teams.

The candidate should have 10+ years in RF/microwave or semiconductor program management, excellent communications, and a track record of meeting contractual requirements and delivering

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of program management experience in RF/microwave or semiconductor industries.
• Experience managing development programs for Tier 1 Aerospace and Defense companies.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage the integrated master project schedule across engineering, manufacturing, test, and supply chain.
• Evaluate and manage program risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Lead cross-functional team meetings and track actions with stakeholders.
• Drive programs through all phases: concept, design, prototype, qualification, production, sustainment.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, statements of work, and technical specs.
• Communicate status, risks, and financial metrics to BU management.
