Job summary

GameStop in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations, including guest service, merchandising, and daily cash handling. You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, promote sales initiatives, and ensure a clean, welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training, achieving sales goals, processing transactions, and maintaining inventory control while delivering best-in-class

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and promote sales through product knowledge.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and maintaining store policies and procedures.
• Handle daily POS transactions, returns, and banking duties.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, merchandised, and inventory controlled.
