Job summary

GameStop in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and lead Sales Associates. You’ll ensure the customer experience is outstanding, manage inventory, process transactions, and promote loyalty programs in a fast-paced retail setting.

As a key leader, you’ll schedule staff, train associates, and monitor store performance while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring compliance with company policies

Qualifications

• Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with retail operations and customer service.
• High school diploma required; degree preferred in business-related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests promptly.
• Supervise Sales Associates in the absence of Store Manager.
• Process purchases and returns via POS accurately and efficiently.
• Promote loyalty programs and drive sales through product knowledge.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
