Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager in the United States to lead daily store operations and a retail team. You will supervise guest service, ensure store presentation, manage inventory, and execute promotions while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service; greet guests and respond to questions quickly and courteously.
• Support the total shopping environment, promotional initiatives, and guest relationships to drive sales.
• Process guest purchases/returns using the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train and retain high-performing associates; ensure onboarding compliance.
• Schedule store associates and manage breaks to ensure optimal guest service levels.
