Job summary

GameStop in Natick, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will lead guest service, merchandise presentation, and day-to-day store management to drive sales and guest loyalty.

Responsibilities include supervising Sales Associates, executing promotions, training staff, scheduling, and ensuring a safe, organized shopping environment while adhering to company policies and loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and promote a sales culture.
• Support store operations, visual merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
• Process guest purchases/returns using the POS system with accuracy and courtesy.
• Respond to guest questions by phone or in person and elevate issues as needed.
• Assist in training and supervising Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders.
• Ensure onboarding, training, safety, and compliance requirements are completed for staff.
