Job summary

Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack in Farmington, New York is seeking a full-time Gaming Shift Supervisor to oversee the gaming department operations and lead team members in delivering exceptional guest service.

The role also includes acting as manager on duty for the facility, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies, and coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth, secure operations during evenings and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to obtain a NY State Gaming License.
• Minimum six months’ hospitality experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Capacity to work weekends, holidays, and swing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate staffing by monitoring guest volume and wait times.
• Conduct team member hiring, training, development, performance reviews, and corrective counseling.
• Supervise authorization for jackpot payouts in compliance with state and company regulations, policies, and procedures, and investigate and resolve guest issues.
• Supervise work through planning and scheduling of work assignments and performance development.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure that the operation is running efficiently and effectively.
