Job summary

GameStop seeks a Store Manager to oversee all facets of store operations and drive performance. You will foster a sales culture built on knowledge of video games, guest service excellence, and the buy/sell/trade and reservation business model.

You will ensure products are visible and easy to buy while maintaining a clean, organized environment. Lead and develop the local retail team, recruit and train associates, schedule staff, approve payroll, and uphold loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Retail management experience required; leadership in a fast-paced store.
• Strong guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multiunit store operations and drive sales performance.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service and promote loyalty programs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop store associates.
• Schedule staff, approve payroll, and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain visual, inventory, and loss-prevention standards.
• Coordinate Omni‑Channel orders and in-store experiences.
